Here's What's Working!

Cloverdale Adventist Church in Boise, Idaho, Pastor Michael Armayor
Quarters 1-3 ~ "Family Day Camp" a children's church program meets in the school gymnasium and bringing in special features such as science, dog training, missionaries, and history.
4th Quarter ~ Vespers/Community Harvest Party this has been a huge hit. 2007 attendance of 1,100 people. The community really gets involved including Pathfinders, Girl Scouts, and Boy Scouts. Fire Dept.smoke house, Police dept. kids prints, Weed awareness, and are local ABC store. We serve vegetarian haystacks, homemade caramel apples, popcorn and hot chocolate/cider.
Senior Luncheon ~ For the holiday's we have a senior luncheon to allow a special time with no children for them to socialize with the Pastor after a short performance from the school children.
Banquets ~ understanding the importance of adults needing time outside of church to get to know each other we have worked at have dinners to help facilitate friendships.

Wheaton Seventh-day Adventist Church Family Ministries:
Each year the Wheaton Seventh-day Adventist Church sponsors a Family Ministries Retreat. They also have an annual Valentine's Banquet. The Wheaton Family Ministries is very active in promoting Christian Home & Marriage Week and Family Togetherness Week.
