Prayer Requests

October 31, 2006 --Just wanted to personally thank you and the Family Life Department for your prayers.   We ended up with about 24 couples who attended the marriage enrichment seminar sessions, and our Singles Ministry Department served about 21 kids each Friday night over the past seven weeks.  To God be the Glory!!!    Please continue to pray for the work that God has called my spouse and I into.  Not our will but His will be done.  --Carolyn Whipple

September 11, 2006
--My name is Carolyn Whipple.  My spouse and I are currently the Married Couple's Leaders at our church (North East SDA Church, Charlotte NC).  We are currently hosting the "From This Day Forward Marriage" seminars at our church, which we purchased through Adventsource.  We have eighteen couples (Members/Non-members) that committed to attend the seminars every Friday night September 8th thru October 20th.  Our Single's Ministry Department is supporting the sessions by providing an enriching child care program.  We are striving to meet the needs of the entire family.

My spouse and I are requesting your prayers, as we lead out in the seminars.  It is our sincere prayer that relationships will be strengthened, mended and restored.  We know that if God is able to raise the dead that he is able to do anything.  Please pray our strength in the Lord, as the devil wants to destroy the FAMILY unit.

May God continue to Bless us all as we work toward doing our part to share the gospel.
